About the Concealed Carry Permit:

Starting January 1, 2020, Tennessee Department of Safety Homeland Security will begin to allow Tennessee residents to apply for the Concealed Carry Only Handgun permit by taking a 90-minute online safety school course.

TNonlinehandguncourse.com is a certified DOSHS safety course.

Applicants can purchase the training, take the safety test, and receive the certificate instantly once the training is completed.

The TN online safety course is 90 minutes and will divide into three sections. After purchase, applicants will have unlimited access to the safety course video; however, they will only be able to take the test once per purchased video course. If an applicant fails the test, they will have to repurchase a new one.

A recommended study guide is available to purchase before or during the course.
